What to know about Marlies, your data and AI.
Marlies is an AI invoicing app for small businesses in Austria. Create invoices, organise receipts and match payments in a desktop app for macOS and Windows.
Invoicing and bookkeeping on your computer are free. Pro adds Layout Studio, Marlies KI and email support; see the pricing page for the full details.
You don’t need an account to use the free app. A Marlies account lets you manage your Pro subscription, trial and devices.
Your database is stored on your computer. When you use an AI provider, your questions and the data the assistant reads are sent to that provider; you can also connect a local model.
Connect providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini or OpenRouter with your own API key. You can also connect a local model through an OpenAI-compatible interface, or use Marlies KI with Pro for processing in Europe.
You choose which actions the assistant can take, such as saving customers or invoice drafts. Issuing, cancelling and deleting each need your approval in the chat.
You can review and create an export package for BMD NTCS. It includes posting entries and customer and supplier records, with optional PDF documents.
Marlies is built for small businesses in Austria, especially those using cash-basis accounting and invoicing in euros. The interface is available in German and English.
